VP of Legal
Abby is currently the Vice President of Legal of Betsson AB and General Counsel of Betsson’s Operational Group, managing its legal, compliance and regulatory functions. Abby is an England and Wales qualified solicitor with over 10 years’ experience in media, e-commerce and the igaming sector across a number of multinational companies including NBC Universal and JD Sports PLC.
Dr. Abdalla Kablan is an award winning serial entrepreneur, and Fintech expert. He specialises in the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the design of complex systems. He is the CEO of Wyzer Ai and founder of Hippo Data, a Fintech and AI startup which was selected in 2016 to be a part of Microsoft Ventures, UK. Hippo Data’s VR platform was also featured at the World Economic Forum 2017 in Davos. Furthermore, he is the founder of Scheduit, an intelligent business oriented matchmaking and professional networking platform.
Adam is an Associate Director in the KPMG Economics team, where he has worked for the past six years. Adam has a passion for the economics of the gambling industry, and has worked with a number of clients on engagements in M&A, game design, simulation analyses and taxation. In M&A specifically, his work typically includes assisting clients seeking to achieve clearance from competition authorities during merger processes in the UK, EU and other jurisdictions, as well as assisting third parties taking an active interest in the outcome of a merger inquiry. He has also worked on the strategy side of deals.
Adriaan Brits is a marketing consultant, trusted business adviser and author of e-learning solutions for S&P500 clients. Many of his publications and thought leadership can be found at major outlets. With focus on digital marketing, analytics and media buying, Adriaan also helps mastermind affiliate development strategy.

Dr Alan Littler advises the national and international gambling industry as a member of the Gaming Practice. The focus of Alan’s work is for remote gambling operators and adjacent activities, such as social gaming. He also advises those providing services to the sector, e.g. particularly payment services providers, and covers regulatory developments in the lottery and casino markets. Current interests include issues concerning data protection and privacy around gambling.
Alan has a strong academic background in European law, holding a LL.M. (cum laude) in European Community Law from Leiden University, and moreover having been awarded his PhD from Tilburg University for research on the regulation of gambling and EU law. His research was published under the title “Member States versus the European Union: The Regulation of Gambling“ by Martinus Nijhoff in 2011.

Aleksandra Fetisova is interested in self-organisation and decentralised infrastructure since 2012. She is an expert in the field of IT and fintech with eight years of experience in managing large projects. She had a degree in Business Management and Certificate of International Coach Federation.
At the conference, the speaker will tell which opportunities are opened for gambling industry by decentralized blockchain technologies and other innovative P2P communication.

Alex joined KPMG Malta in 2005 after successfully completing his Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) Degree at the University of Malta. Following a number of years working within the Audit function, he joined the Risk Consulting Advisory team in 2013. He is an accountant by profession, holds the Practising Certificate in Auditing and is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor. Alex is a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). Through his career at KPMG Malta, Alex obtained extensive experience in auditing, risk consulting advisory and internal audit. He currently leads the firm’s provision of Internal Audit Services to a diversified portfolio of local and international clients. He is also involved in the provision of regulatory advisory services to a number of banking and insurance clients. Alex has regularly provided technical training on a number of subjects including financial reporting standards and regulation. He currently serves as Secretary to the Committee of the Malta Forum for Internal Auditors.

He specialises in Internet marketing services, including interactive advertising, pay per click advertising, banner ads, e-mail marketing, social, article and affiliate marketing, organic search engine marketing (including on and off site search engine optimization, organic searches and link popularity).
As a founder of Growth Hacker and High Creative, Sakota is running network of websites that receive over 3 million unique visitors per month where over 90% of traffic comes from search engines. Due to his own initiative, Sakota developed a plan for opening a new multimedia center in Belgrade with the budget of 5M, which was supported and financed by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
Sakota has an extensive background of major computer software, hardware and LAN issues with expertise in SEO, including professional multimedia software on both Windows and Apple platforms.
