Sports Trading Network joins all-in diversity Project
Partnership aims to transform a new generation of traders
The All-In Diversity Project is proud to announce its latest Strategic Partnership with Sports Trading Network (STN) – the largest and best connected network of sports trading professionals in the world.
The topic of Diversity & Inclusion is one that is front and centre today, and several studies have shown that a diverse workforce can be a key factor in improving a business’s bottom line and overall product delivery. The partnership includes a plan to launch an industry-wide Sports Trading Apprenticeship program in order to accelerate the quality and numbers of new talent entering the discipline.
“Our plans to create a more diverse and inclusive industry has a big focus on sports — currently a heavily dominated industry with over 80% of the current talent being male. Together with the Sports Trading Network, this partnership brings a deep level of industry expertise, a passion to educate and develop new talent for the future, and in the process, create a more diverse and inclusive industry for all of us,” says Kelly Kehn, Co-Founder of All-in Diversity Project.
“It’s time to wake up to the fact that the world around us is changing and with it the customer profiles, habits and interest. The days of sports for boys and bingo for girls are on their way out. Women’s soccer and cricket are now two of the world’s fastest growing sports. It doesn’t take much to do the math – the successful sportsbooks of the future will be the ones who understand how to engage with women’s sports and customers as effectively as they do men. By offering a gender agnostic apprenticeship we hope to be able to provide a network for those who want to start looking to the future to be able to do so,” says AIDP Co-Founder Tina Thakor Rankin.
