What is your company’s unique differentiating idea?
Gluck Games focuses on products that are positioned between lotto and casino. We make ‘casual real money’ games that are specifically designed with the broad lottery-playing customer audience in mind. GG is working to become the one-stop lotto & instant-win.
What differentiates you from your competitors? Specifically, what do you provide that is currently not available in the market or how do you differ from your competitors?
Gluck Games has a clear focus on blending the gameplay and design approaches that are prevalent in casual/social gaming with real money gaming. We are specifically targeting the broad lottery-playing audience rather than the more ‘hardcore’ casino gambling audience. We are building a large portfolio of games (instant win, instant lotto & scratchcards) along with our own RGCS (an RGS that supports both eCommerce and wallet payments), insured hardware RNG solutions (to enable large jackpots) and a developer program that delivers distribution to 3rd party studios. All in all, we aim to be the one-stop solution provider for the lottery vertical for operators.
What is your revenue model?
Our core business model is that of a normal games supplier to the iGaming operators. We negotiate a fixed revenue share of Gross Gaming Revenue that is generated through our games on the operator’s site. We have no direct customer acquisition costs. This revenue share amount varies from operator to operator depending upon the scale of distribution.
What milestones or tangible traction have you achieved to date?
Gluck Games has created over 45 HTML5 games for the iGaming lotto vertical in 18 months. We launched in late Q2 2016, and our games are currently operating at an annualized sales (GGR) run-rate of EUR45m with our operator partners. We have built a team of 17 people in our Berlin studio comprising of front end and back end/live ops developers, artists, producers and business development roles. We have a member of the team (Kevin Corti) on the ground in Gibraltar to evangelise about our products and technology, and support current and new operator partners.
One of our newest games, The Lotto Machine, won the ICE2017 ‘Game To Watch’ competition. Our launch partner was Lottoland, to which we have since added Lottohelden, Lotto Palace and Lottoworks/PlayUK. We have also built our own ‘RGCS’ (Real-money Gaming and Commerce Server) which allows both eCommerce and wallet-based transactions. During 2017, we are targeting the release of 100 new games (in-house and with 3rd party developers). These include a new family of instant lotto and common draw lotto games, and skill-based games (with significant licensed IP).
Please explain your objectives for participating in SIGMA Pitch Event.
Our objectives for SiGMA 2017 are to significantly raise our profile in the industry, to benchmark our progress against similar stage companies, to assess current industry trends, and to network with key operator and other industry professionals. We also seek to begin to assess the opportunities for acquiring expansion capital in 2018 and beyond, once we have proven that our games and technology has been successfully battle-proven with our launch and early partners.
