PlayOJO launches a new UK TV ad

PlayOJO looks to strengthen its position with new ad campaign

PlayOJO, the hottest online casino brand in Europe, is asking players to find their OJO in a brand new multi-million-pound television advertising campaign that will strengthen its position as the most trusted online casino in the world.

The ad features a sad Alpaca that has been treated badly by other online casinos in the past. Then he finds PlayOJO, an online casino that is transparent, fair, and offers cash bonuses that come with no wagering requirements whatsoever… and then he finds his OJO!

The alpaca’s transformation from glum to cheery symbolises the change that PlayOJO has brought to the online casino sector following its launch a little over a year ago. Its approach has been a big hit with players, who are given 100% control of their money.

The advert was created by TBWA London, and will be broadcast on the UK’s most popular websites and TV channels, including ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky. It  will also roll out across digital and social channels. A national radio version of the ad is planned for later in the year.

Alpacas are no strangers to the limelight, the PlayOJO alpaca starred in the Star Wars film, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. In the PlayOJO ad, the alpaca is voiced by Ewen MacIntosh, who played accountant Keith Bishop in UK sitcom, The Office.

PlayOJO is already changing players’ negative perceptions of the industry; the brand scored the only positive net Promoter Score in a recent UK marketing research conducted by Trinity McQueen comparing top UK online casino brands such as 888casino and Casumo.
