Oh Canada – NetEnt tackles Canadian market

Games from the top provider go live on the regulated Canadian market

Following a technical revamp, an array of NetEnt’s top titles went live with British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) through an agreement with IGT. The agreement sees NetEnt take is first steps onto regulated Canadian soil.

Already interlinked, NetEnt has previously teamed with IGT. The integration is now up-and-running and a selection of NetEnt’s suite of global-leading games is available to BCLC’s players.

This deal is made possible thanks to innovative technology – the IGT Connect integration layer which IGT is providing to the lottery. BCLC is a member of World Lottery Association (WLA), the industry organisation for state-authorised lotteries worldwide.

This month sees NetEnt’s geographical expansion go from strength to strength. With the recent changes in U.S. legislation, NetEnt applied for a Pennsylvanian sportsbook license. Additionally, NetEnt embarked into Norwegian gaming territory earlier this month.
