Hi Marius, I’m very much looking forward to Tallinn! Being part of a select group of affiliates and operators in such an interesting city will be amazing. Lots of good times and good business will be done I’m sure.
How did you come to enter the online gaming space and set up your company?
It was somewhat by accident, to be honest. I found out about no deposit casino bonuses and thought that everybody else would be interested in them as well. As it turns out, people seem to enjoy them.
Can you tell us a little about how your company business is structured?
There are 5 of us in the office and a few more remote. We really focus and generating leads for our partners and providing quality info to the players. As long as the info is good, everybody wins.
With the recent wave of consolidation, mergers and acquisitions of affiliate sites, are you surprised at all of the changes happening in the industry?
Nothing surprises me in this industry anymore.
A number of your competitors have gone down the real money operator route, and tried their hand at white labels. Have you also done this?
No. We provide advertising services only.
Developing unique content is a key pillar of your strategy. What will be your primary focus on this front over the next 6 months?
More of the same, to be honest. Setting up exclusive promotions that are only available at our websites and are better than the promotions a player usually gets if they find a site on their own.
Which markets do you focus on and do you see any potential in the emerging markets ?
We’ve always focused on English-speaking players world-wide. Bitcoin and bitcoin casinos are a current fascination for me personally, and it’s starting to turn into a decent revenue-stream.
How do you find Scandinavian markets and competition?
We only dabble there so I wouldn’t really be able to provide an informed opinion. My sense is that we should focus on it more though.
How have Google’s algorithm updates affected the way you go about traffic generation, SEO and content at your company?
We’re much less dependant on SEO than most affiliates. We spend a lot of money advertising each month at various sources.
Are there any exciting plans in the works that you can tell us about?
Nothing unusual really. We’re getting back into leveraging Facebook again and the initial results are promising.
What is the main thing that you’d like SiGMA readers to know about your sites?
Nothing in particular, other than the fact that we really do work hard to set up the exclusive promotions that we provide for our visitors.
What challenges and opportunities has the move to mobile presented you with?
Making sure that all our sites are designed for mobile has been a challenge, but we’ve managed. It’s also opened up a lot of new sources for advertising.
What do you see as the biggest challenges ahead for your business and the wider affiliate sector in 2017?
Staying on top of all the regulation changes and country restrictions is challenging for all affiliates, but I suppose the biggest challenge is staying on top of how search engines value site content.
What two pieces of advice would you give to any new affiliate starting today?
Find a niche you enjoy and don’t quit your day job.
Do you play slots and what would you do with 1 million Euro from jackpot winnings?
No, I don’t play other than on occasion. I’d probably buy investment properties.
