GVC partners with Vegas-based gaming company and funds study
This week has been intrinsic in GVC Holding’s ongoing expansion into the U.S.
Las Vegas-based gaming company, Oryx Gaming has finalised a content partnership with GVC, which is one of the premier sports betting and gaming groups in the world based in the UK.
Oryx Gaming will be launching top-performing titles on GVC’s strongest brands and games will be rolled out across bwin, PartyCasino, Sportingbet, Betboo and Foxy Casino. Players will gain access to Oryx’s standout slot and casino games portfolio.
Additionally, GVC Holdings committed to subsidise a new study surrounding gambling problems in the U.S. The company will link up with the President’s Circle of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), America’s top advocate for programme and services to assist problem gamblers and their families.
GVC’s commitment to the NCPG includes assisting to fund the National Survey of Gambling in America, a new study aimed at quantifying gambling prevalence in the U.S. and establishing a basis by which to judge the scope of problem gambling behaviour.
Just a few months ago, GVC partnered with MGM on a venture to explore online sports betting, casino and poker opportunities.
GVC CEO Kenny Alexander commented, “reinforces our commitment to ensure that GVC promotes the highest standards of responsible gaming while ensuring our customers can enjoy our products in a safe environment.”
NCPG executive director Keith added, “essential multi-year contributors who support overall operations, sustainability, future growth and innovation.”
Current President’s Circle members include major land-based gaming operators such as Las Vegas Sands, Mohegan Sun, Caesars Entertainment, International Game Technology and MGM Resorts.
GVC boasts of a number of the leading brands on the market including sportsbook labels and casino games labels, across B2B and B2C.
