How to do company research
The best way to tackle pre-interview jitters is to make sure you can walk into your interview confident you know everything about them.
Whether you’re familiar with the company, or if this is the first you’ve heard of them: here are a couple of ways to go about conducting research.
Know what makes them special
Knowing the company’s strong suits is the best way to make a strong impression in your interview. Luckily, this information is often answered on the company’s website under their mission statement, or in their about section. Read up on their goals and values to see what makes them stand out from their competitors.
Take a peek into their financial health. Most large companies publish and make public their annual report, giving you great insight into their growth and stability.
Check out their Social Media
A company’s social media can tell you a lot about their core values and company culture. This will give you a good sense of how the company wants its consumers to view it.
